AWARD-WINNING show A Place in the Sun is returning next month for a brand new series as the programme hits an all-time high, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

A Place in the Sun bagged the top gong of Best Daytime TV show earlier this year and now a slew of sun-soaked episodes is set to hit screens every day from the start of next month.

The team of show’s hosts – including Jasmine Harman, Danni Menzies and Laura Hamilton– will be using their expertise to guide even more Brits around a number of stunning properties across the world.

A source told The Sun: “This run of A Place in the Sun looks set to be the most exciting ever.

“Having just bagged a huge award, the team are riding on a high and it’s clear that even after 20 years, the programme is still just as popular – with no signs of slowing down.

“This time around, some of the house searches will be the most interesting ever and so fans are in for an absolute treat.”

Among some of the pristine locations the show will head to are the stunning Canary Islands, the unspoiled countryside of Haute-Vienne in France to the idyllic beaches of the Greek islands.

In the opening episode of the brand new series, Jasmine will be in Fuerteventura helping Steve and Sid find the perfect property for them for £100,000.

The couple met whilst they were at collage and admitted it was “love at first sight”.

With their children now grown up, the pair are left seeking a new way of life in sunnier climates.

However, things may not go to plan with Steve and Sid left lacking enthusiasm as the house tours get underway.

During one tense moment as Steve and Sid describe one of the prospective homes as “nice and functional”, Jasmine hits back, admitting: “Nice and functional – neither of those are very inspiring words I’ve got to say.”

But with 20 years of experience under her belt, Jasmine promises to pull out all the stops to find them something which is the right fit for the childhood sweethearts.

As well as Jasmine, Danni and Laura, familiar faces Ben Hilman, Jean Johannson, Leah Charles-King, Lee Juggurnauth and Craig Rowe complete the presenter line-up.
