Born on November 4, 1993, Taylor Tomlinson is an American comedian from Temecula, California.
During her late teenage years, Taylor decided to pursue a comedy career.
This led to her appearance in season 9 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where she placed within the top 10.
She also performed stand-up routines on The Tonight Show and Conan.
Taylor also has three Netflix specials available to stream; Quarter-Life Crisis, Look At You, and Have It All.
On November 1, 2023, it was announced CBS picked up After Midnight; six years after Comedy Central canceled it.
The network also revealed Taylor was chosen as the show’s host.
Taylor’s After Midnight takes over the timeslot formerly held by James Corden and The Late Late Show.
When it comes to her advice for other up-and-coming comedians, she commented: “I’d say get out of Temecula. That would be my first piece of advice.”
The stand-up comic told CBS News: “I think that if you want to do stand-up, you have to just write and perform as much as possible.
“It’s the only way to get better. As somebody who struggled with stage fright as a teenager when I was getting started, you just have to learn how to push through it because that’s the only way to get over it.”
How can I watch After Midnight?
On January 17, 2024, After Midnight is scheduled to debut at 12:37 am EST via CBS.

“But there’s been a lot of successful women in late-night, which is great for me because I have those people to look to as examples.
“I think this idea that comedy is this boys’ club or late-night is this boys club, I think that’s going away. I really, really do.
“It’s like a fake game show…it’s going to be some improv and playing around and banter and that talk show aspect, of course.
“But for the most part, these are jokes, these are like the smartest jokes about the dumbest things on the internet that day.”
Before After Midnight was revived to replace The Late Late Show, the latter concluded its 20-plus-year run on April 27, 2023.
